Ajaccio to Castagna
Meeting at 2.30 pm at Ajaccio Airport or directly at the base camp. From the base camp transfer to the south of the gulf of Ajaccio. Learn the navigation basics around the rocks of the Castagna peninsula. Then, dinner and night in bivouac on the beach.
Arena Rossa - Cupabia
Departure early in the morning to go to the Valinco bay. We will discover a first Genovese tower and will reach a little “cala” of sand, in the heart of the rocky cathedral of Capo di Muro. After a short swim in the turquoise sea, we will carry on our way between rocks and little coves of sweet sand until the end the day, taken away by a calm stream, and we will spend the night in bivouac on the famous beach of Cupabia.
Cupabia - Portigliolo
After a stopover in Porto Pollo, we'll have lunch on the beach of the Taravo, Corsica's longest river, before setting sail again across the Gulf of Valinco. We take advantage of this bivouac to admire a sunset over the sea.Bivouac and dinner on the beach.
Portigliolo - Senetosa
After passing Campomoro and its Genoese tower, our route takes us to the granite chaos at the heart of the Senetosa reserve. We pass through the bays of Agulia, Arana and Conca before coming ashore at Capu di Senetosa and discovering the lighthouse and its museum. Dinner and overnight in a bivouac on the beach.
Senetosa - Rocapina
Sailing on to Tizzano for lunch. In the second half of the day we head for the Lion de Roccapina to finally reach the wild beach of Erbaju. This bivouac offers us an exceptional view of the famous Lion of Roccapina, as well as a Genoese tower accessible by a few minutes' hike through the heart of the maquis. Dinner and overnight in a bivouac on the beach.
Herbaju to Fornello
Leaving Erbaju in the early hours of the morning, we enjoy the privacy of Roccapina beach, a real postcard with its white sand and translucent water. We make our way along the rugged to reach Anse de Furnellu, stopping first at a deserted beach for lunch. Dinner and overnight in a bivouac on the beach.
Fornello to Figari
We travel along a jagged coastline that exudes a wild atmosphere, contrasting with the maquis vegetation. We reach the ornithological reserve of the Bruzzi Islands, and in the distance Sardinia on the horizon. We round a final cape and enter the bay of Figari, where a transfer waits to drive you back to the base camp and then to Ajaccio Airport. Holiday ends upon arrival in Ajaccio.
